Partner: Connecting a New LinkedIn Account

Follow these simple steps to connect your LinkedIn account to Interceptly

Written by Rhegen

Every account requires a connected LinkedIn account, so we've made the process as simple as possible.

You'll need to be ready with the email and password you use to log in to LinkedIn.

Getting Started

  1. Select "LinkedIn Account" from the top left of the screen.

  2. Select "New Account".

  3. Read the notice and select "Get Started".

  4. Adding your LinkedIn Details: Select your regular login location from the list and hit "Next."

We use a proxy IP to connect with LinkedIn that matches the country you normally access LinkedIn from. This ensures that your account remains safe and secure.

5. Select your Timezone change or accept your regular working hours and hit "Next."

6. Add your LinkedIn login credentials and select "Connect Account".

Note: this is the email address used to log in to LinkedIn, which may differ from the one used to log in to Interceptly.

Entering the secure PIN

  1. A secure PIN will be sent to the email address you use with LinkedIn. Depending on your security settings, it can sometimes be sent to your mobile phone, or you may need to use the Authenticator App.

Once you have the correct pin, enter this and select "Enter".

You normally only have 10 minutes to enter this PIN into Interceptly, so be quick! If you don't see the box to enter the PIN, please refresh your screen.

  2. After entering the PIN, the servers will sync with your LinkedIn account, and you can close this window.

🚀 Success! Your account is successfully connected when you see your LinkedIn profile information replaced by the blank Avatar on the left panel.
