Interceptly lets you set a scheduled pause date for any active campaign. On the date you choose, the campaign pauses automatically at 12:00 AM in your account time zone. This is useful when you are taking time off, pausing outreach around holidays, or stopping activity temporarily without relying on a manual reminder.
Setting up a Scheduled Pause
To set up a scheduled pause, open the campaign you want to control and follow these steps:
Select Campaign Settings from inside the campaign.
Locate the "Scheduled Pause" option in the settings list.
Select "Set Up Schedule" or the pencil icon to open the date selector.
Choose the date you want the campaign to pause.
The campaign will pause automatically at 12:00 AM on the selected date, based on your account time zone.
Confirming a Pause is Scheduled
After setting a scheduled pause, Interceptly gives you a visual confirmation in your campaign overview.
A clock icon appears next to the campaign status.
Hovering over the icon shows the exact scheduled pause date.
On the scheduled date, the campaign status changes to "Paused".
Pausing a Campaign Manually
You can pause a campaign manually at any time, without waiting for a scheduled date.
To manually pause a campaign, go to either:
The "Campaigns" tab, or
Inside the Campaign Editor.
If a Scheduled Pause Already Exists
If you manually pause a campaign that already has a scheduled pause date set, Interceptly will ask you to confirm the early pause. If you confirm, the scheduled pause date is cancelled. The campaign pauses immediately and the original scheduled date is cleared.
What Happens When a Campaign is Paused
When a campaign is paused, either manually or automatically, all outreach activity stops immediately. No new messages, tasks, or actions are sent to prospects.
Resuming a Paused Campaign
To resume a paused campaign, go to either:
The "Campaigns" tab, or
Inside the Campaign Editor.
Once you resume the campaign, any previously scheduled pause date is cleared.
