Interceptly allows you to connect your Gmail account easily via our integration with our development account - lead-updates. If you prefer to connect via SMTP you can follow these steps.
🎓 Note: Interceptly has not yet been approved by Google, which results in some warning messages. This is normal, and we're working towards our approval.
Before You Start
Go to https://mail.google.com/mail/#settings and select the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab.
Enable POP for all emails.
Enable IMAP and select "Save Changes".
Adding Your Mailbox
Select "Mailboxes" from the left menu.
Select "Connect Mailbox".
Select Gmail
Select your "Gmail" from the list of providers.
Choose your account or select "Use another account" and enter your email credentials (username and password) into the relevant section.
Google lets you know that the app is not verified. This is normal for software not yet verified by Google. Select "Advanced".
The Google notice will drop down, select "Go to lead-updates.com".
Sign in with your Gmail email address and password.
Next, you permit Interceptly via lead-updates.com to send emails from your account. Select the first tick at the top of the options.
Select "Continue".
Repeat to Add More Accounts
Once your first Gmail account has been successfully added, you'll see it live under "Mailboxes".
Select "Connect Mailbox" to add more accounts - you can add up to 5 email accounts per seat.
