Partner: How To Update Your DNS Records For Your White Label

A guide on setting up your DNS records for your white label

Written by Rhegen

Setting up your White Label Subdomain requires updating DNS records in your domain registrar account. Please make sure you have access before starting.

Follow the Steps:

  1. Log in to the DNS management panel of your domain registrar or hosting provider (e.g., Cloudflare, GoDaddy, Namecheap).

  2. Add a New CName Record

    1. Find the section for managing DNS records (usually called "DNS Settings" or "DNS Management").

    2. Select "CName" or "Create New Record".

    3. Select CNAME as the record type.

    4. Enter your subdomain in the Host field, for example:

  3. In the Value, enter the target URL or Hostname provided by Interceptly.

  4. Set the TTL (Time-to-Live) value. If unsure, leave it as the default or set it to 3600 seconds (1 hour).

  5. Select Save or Apply Changes to confirm the new record.

  6. Wait for DNS Propagation. DNS changes may take anywhere from a few minutes to 24–48 hours to fully propagate worldwide.

  7. You can check the status using https://dnschecker.org/

πŸ’‘The CName for your subdomain must point only to the custom domain provided by Interceptly. If there are any conflicting CName records, remove them to avoid issues.
