How Job Title Data Works in Interceptly

Job title data is stored at the prospect level in Interceptly. This data is available in specific areas of the platform, but it is not currently exposed as a live filter in the Prospect list view.

Job titles are visible in:

  • Individual prospect profiles.

  • CSV exports.

  • Enriched prospect data.

🚨 Caution: Job title is not currently supported as a selectable filter inside the Prospect list UI.

What Is Supported and Not Supported

Supported

  • Viewing job titles on individual prospect profiles.

  • Exporting prospects with job titles included via CSV.

  • Filtering by job title before import using external tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

  • Applying labels after manual review or CSV-based filtering.

Not Supported

  • Filtering existing prospects by job title inside the Prospect list UI.

  • Applying include or exclude logic based on job title within Interceptly.

  • Bulk job title filtering across multiple pages.

Recommended Workflows

Filter By Job Title Before Importing Prospects

This is the most reliable workflow.

  1. Build your search in LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

  2. Apply job title include and exclude filters.

  3. Import the filtered list into Interceptly.

  4. Use labels to manage segments inside Interceptly.

πŸ’‘ Tip: Filtering before import prevents post-import filtering issues.

Export, Filter, and Re-import Prospects

Use this workflow if prospects already exist in Interceptly.

  1. Go to "Prospects" from the left menu.

  2. Select "Export" to download the prospect list as a CSV.

  3. Filter the "Job Title" column in your spreadsheet.

  4. Save the filtered file.

  5. Re-import the filtered prospects into Interceptly.

  6. Apply labels during or after import.

Manual Review For Small Lists

This workflow is only recommended for small volumes.

  1. Open individual prospect profiles.

  2. Review the job title field.

  3. Select prospects in Interceptly and apply labels in small batches.

Best Practices

  • Always filter by job title before import when possible.

  • Use CSV exports for accurate post-import filtering.

  • Apply labels in batches of 50-100 to avoid bulk-action errors.

  • Avoid selecting prospects across many pages for bulk actions.

πŸ’‘ Tip: Smaller batches reduce the risk of API timeouts.
