How to Assign a Signal to a Campaign in LeadIntercept™

Easily organize and route your signals into the right campaigns

Written by Rhegen

Assigning signals to the right campaign keeps your outreach clean, organised, and targeted.

The LeadIntercept™ portal lets you review each signal, determine whether it fits your ICP, and route it in just a few steps — either into a real outreach campaign, or into one of the two review checkboxes for signals you want to exclude or revisit later.

1. Open the Signal Record

  • Go to the Signals to be Reviewed table.

  • Select the signal you want to review.

  • The whole signal record will open in a new view with all available details.

2. Review the Lead Information

Check the signal against your Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). Use fields such as:

  • Job title

  • Company

  • Company size

  • Country

  • Industry

If the signal does not match your ICP

Tick the ICP Not Match checkbox on the signal record. The signal is automatically removed from the Signals to be Reviewed table after 5 minutes and reported under ICP Not Matched (Manually Assigned) in the ICP Summary graph.

If you need more time: tick Signal Review

Tick the Signal Review checkbox on the signal record. The signal is temporarily removed from the Signals to be Reviewed table so it doesn't clutter your workflow, and stays flagged so you can return to it.

Use this when:

  • You are unsure about a signal or want to come back to it later

  • You need more information on the prospect

  • You want to double-check the ICP criteria

3. Select the Campaign

If the signal is a good fit:

  1. In the signal record, find the Campaign dropdown.

  2. Select the campaign you want this lead to join.

This tells the system where to send the contact for outreach.

The dropdown now only lists real outreach campaigns. The old LeadIntercept™ NOT ICP and Signal in Review entries have been replaced by the checkboxes in Section 2.

4. Signal Automatically Sends to the Campaign

After you select a campaign:

  • The signal is automatically transferred to that campaign within 5 to 8 minutes.

  • Once the transfer completes, the signal is removed from the Signals to be Reviewed table.

You will then see the lead inside the chosen campaign as part of your outbound workflow.

🚀 Success! You now know how to review a signal and route it to the right place in LeadIntercept™.
