LeadIntercept™ Portal 2.0 - User Guide

Competitor Engagement Tracking Made Simple

Written by Chall

LeadIntercept™ 2.0 is packed with updates to deliver clearer, more accurate buying signals from key competitors.

Your workspace is divided into three interfaces, each designed to help you manage signals, competitors, and campaign assignments efficiently.

Below is a breakdown of how each interface works and what you can expect to see inside.

1. LeadIntercept™ – Signals

This interface displays all high-intent social engagement signals generated from the competitor company you are tracking.

A signal represents a new relationship on LinkedIn between prospects and your selected competitors.

Filters

To help you categorize signals accurately, you can use filters.

You can filter by:

  • Date Supplied

  • Account

  • Campaign

  • Employee Range

  • Industry

Automatic ICP Exclusions

LeadIntercept™ 2.0 now includes automatic filtering to remove signals that do not match your ICP based on:

  • Company Size

  • Location

Alongside these automatic exclusions, you can also flag signals manually with the ICP Not Match checkbox in the Signals to Be Reviewed table (see Actioning a signal below).

Signals that fall outside your ICP criteria will be automatically excluded from your Signals to Be Reviewed list.

This ensures you only review relevant signals and avoid wasting time on prospects who are not a fit.

These excluded signals also appear in your ICP Summary graph, giving you visibility into:

  • How many signals were excluded

  • The percentage of excluded signals

  • How closely your incoming signals match your predefined ICP

Summary Data

You'll see three key summary boxes at the top of this section:

  • Total LeadIntercept™ Signals – All high-intent engagements collected for you.

  • Signals to Be Reviewed – New, unassigned signals waiting for your review.

  • Signals Reviewed – Signals that have been reviewed and assigned to a campaign.

Reporting

Two visual insights help you understand signal quality and volume:

Signal Volume – Weekly breakdown of all signal volume supplied to your account.

ICP Summary – Percentage of signals that match your ideal customer profile vs. those that don't. This is calculated from the campaign type that each signal is assigned to.

This chart now includes three categories:

  1. ICP Matched

  2. ICP Not Matched (Manually Assigned) - signals you ticked as ICP Not Match in the Signals to Be Reviewed table.

  3. Excluded by Filter (Automatically Removed)

The new Excluded by Filter section allows you to clearly see how many signals were filtered out based on your company size and location preferences.

Signals Table

At the lower part of the screen, you'll find Signals to Be Reviewed, a table listing all new signals that need a review or campaign assignment.

Actioning a signal

Every signal in this table has three possible actions. Pick one:

A. Assign to a campaign (ICP-matched signals)

  1. Click Select Campaign

  2. Choose the campaign you want

  3. The signal automatically syncs to the Interceptly app within 5–8 minutes

B. Tick ICP Not Match — for signals that clearly don't fit your ICP.

The signal is automatically removed from the Signals to Be Reviewed table after 5 minutes and reported under ICP Not Matched (Manually Assigned) in the ICP Summary graph.

C. Tick Signal Review — for signals you want to revisit later.

The signal is temporarily removed from the Signals to Be Reviewed table so it doesn't clutter your workflow, and stays flagged so you can return to it.

The Select Campaign dropdown now only lists real outreach campaigns — the old "LeadIntercept™ NOT ICP" and "Signal in Review" entries have been replaced by the checkboxes above.

You can also click Details on any signal to view additional information about the Signal, including its LinkedIn URL, company size, and more.

2. LeadIntercept™ – Competitors

This area helps you manage the competitor company you are currently tracking and review alternatives.

It contains five status boxes:

  • Competitors – Your pool of companies across all statuses.

  • Validating – Companies currently being validated for signal availability.

  • Validated – Companies that have signals available; you may choose to track one or replace your current selection.

  • Not Eligible – Companies that do not have trackable signals or are not a strong fit.

  • Tracking – The company you are actively collecting signals from.

Reporting

This chart shows how many engagement signals were generated from the company you're tracking now or have tracked in the past.

It's an easy way to compare signal volume and relevance across different competitors.

Note: You can select Details on any lead or signal to open a full record inside the portal.

3. LeadIntercept™ – Campaigns

This interface shows how your assigned signals are moving into active campaigns.

Total Leads Added

A summary box showing how many leads have been added to all campaigns combined.

Reporting

This graph shows how many leads have been assigned to each campaign.

Campaign Detail Table

At the lower part of the screen, you'll find Campaign Detail, a table listing all relevant information about your campaigns.

  • Campaign Name - name of the outreach campaign

  • Leads Added - total number of leads added to the campaign

  • Integration - which platform the campaigns are in

  • Account - which LinkedIn Account the campaign is associated with
