How to Track Emails Opened on a Campaign

Monitor how many of your campaign emails have been opened by prospects

The "Track Emails Opened" setting lets Interceptly record when prospects open emails sent from a campaign. Open statistics are available in both Prospect Activity and the Reports tab.

Enabling Track Emails Opened

To enable email open tracking on a campaign, follow these steps:

  1. Select "Campaigns" from the main navigation.

  2. Select the campaign you want to adjust.

  3. Select "Settings" from the menu at the top of the campaign.

  4. Turn on the "Track Emails Opened" toggle.


Viewing Email Open Statistics

Email open statistics are available in two places:

  • Prospect Activity β€” view open data at the individual prospect level.

  • The "Reports" tab β€” view open data across the full campaign in the detailed report.

Filtering Your Inbox By Opened Emails

You can filter your inbox to show only conversations with prospects who have opened at least one email. To do this:

  1. Go to "Inbox".

  2. Select "Filter".

  3. Select "Statistics".

  4. Select "Email Open Rate".


FAQs

Q: Does this setting track opens for LinkedIn messages as well as emails?

A: No. The "Track Emails Opened" setting only applies to emails sent from campaign steps. LinkedIn message opens are not tracked.

Q: Where can I see how many emails have been opened?

A: Open statistics are available in Prospect Activity for individual prospects, and in the detailed report under the "Reports" tab for campaign-level data.

Q: Can I filter my inbox to find prospects who have opened my emails?

A: Yes. Go to "Inbox" and select "Filter", then "Statistics", then "Opened Emails" to see conversations with prospects who have opened at least one email.
